horde (the "War Dragoons"), lead by the Supreme
Dragoon Burmol, arrive from the west and sweep through
the Sword Lands (725-730);
- Supreme Dragoon Burmol is
slain in ritual combat at Lantharond after a challenge by
King Baeros Dragonheart; the War Dragoons pledge their
loyalty and service to the Dragonking; the barbarians and
their families are welcomed into Lantharond's population;
King Baeros charters the Lantharond Troopers (formerly
know as the War Dragoons) as a new branch of Lantharond's

- Fire giants attack Lantharond
during the eartquake; Lantharond burnt and destroyed,

the Volcanic Rockies; dark clouds of ash and dust cover
all of the Sword Lands throughout the year;
- Temperatures drop and crops
fail; plague and famine are rampant all over the lands;
- Orcs, orgres and goblins from
the Khanark Rockies raid frequently throughout the Sword
Lands;
- Third War of the Coast:
Lantharond Troopers charge Tanirith's gate by order of
Dragonking Baeros who seeks a forceful annexation of the
city; following a brutal and savage clash, the Knights of
the Flame push back the Lantharond Troopers; Lantharond
and Tanirith sign a truce;
- Banditry is on the rise once

- King Baeros Dragonheart of
Lantharond dies; ascension of Briele Dragonheart to the
Dragon-Throne (764);
- Fourth War of the Coast:
Tanirith declares war on Lantharond after the
Dragon-Throne's refusal to pay substantial monetary
reparations for the last War of the Coast; Tanirith lays
siege to Lantharond both on land and at sea; the siege is

Lantharond dies; ascension of Dunar Dragonheart to the

ransoms Lantharond in exchange for leaving the city

Tanirith's fleet is decimated by the combined fleets of
Prince Tarinthas and Lantharond;
- Tanirith buys a truce with
Lantharond for a very high price in gold and gems;
- Battle of the Gathering of
the Sisters: an enraged Tarinthas sails to Lantharond and
declares war to the Dragon-Throne; Tarinthas' fleet meets
in battle with Lantharond's fleet on the night of the
Gathering of the Sisters; Tarinthas and his vessel burn
and sink; both pirate and Lantharond fleets nearly
decimated; battle ends in stalemate; surviving pirate
vessels sail away;
- A declaration signed in the
name of Tarinthas' newborn son is sent to Tanirith and
Lantharond, stating the intent of the pirates of the
"Pirate Isles" to avenge the betrayal and death
of Tarinthas.
