Battle of the Kings: King Aurun I of Mountedge defeats the goblin king Zyntyi; the goblin tribe of the Wormbones is routed and scattered (67).

• War of the Bloodskulls: The orcish tribe of the Bloodskulls, lead by their Chief Buraash, contend with Nur'Anaan (197-209).

Battle of the Skulls: The Bloodskulls ransack Nur'Anaan (rebuilt later) (197);

Battle of the Plains: King Nuram I of Nur'Anaan defeats the orc Chief Buraash; the orcish tribe of the Bloodskulls is routed and scattered (209).

• War of the Road: kings Nuram II of Nur'Anaan and Naros II of Mountedge jointly declare war on the forest-kingdom of Aurystan, for refusing to allow the construction of a trade road passing through the forest-kingdom and linking Nur'Anaan with Mountedge (219-222).
• The Obsidian Wars: the cult of Graaz'z seeks to conquer the Sword Lands (301-342).

Siege of Mountedge: Mountedge besieged by goblin hordes commanded by priests of Graaz'z; invaders eventually routed (301-302);

Battle of the Heartlands: Aurystan and Nur'Anaan overrun by hordes or orcs and goblins commanded by priests of Graaz'z; invaders eventually repelled (308-309);

The Great Purge: the worship of Graaz'z is outlawed in Mountedge, Aurystan and Nur'Anaan; pockets of worship throughout the lands are found and eradicated (309-315);

Battle of the Rockies: Hordes of orcs, ogres and hill giants commanded by priests of Graaz'z attempt to conquer the Dwarven Halls; invaders eventually repelled and routed (317-319);

Battle of Lantharond: Lantharond conquered by goblin hordes lead by priests of Graaz'z; institution of the Obsidian Theocracy by the priests of Graaz'z; the rule of terror and atrocity by the Obsidian Theocracy begins in Lantharond (331);

Second Battle of Lantharond: Under the unanimously approved leadership of the adventurer-hero Raal Strongbow, an expeditionary army comprised of contingents from Mountedge, Aurystan, Nur'Anaan and the Dwarven Halls, marches out to Lantharond and eradicates the Obsidian Theocracy; restoration of the Council of Elders in Lantharond (340);

Battle of the Temple: The fortress-temple of Graaz'z is found and ransacked by a contingent of dwarves from the Dwarven Halls under the leadership of Raal Strongbow; all priests are slain (342).

• Redhawk's War: the Warlord Redhawk seeks conquests in the Sword Lands (372-378).

Siege of Nur'Anaan: Redhawk lays siege to Nur'Anaan but is eventually forced to retreat (372-374);

Battle of Greening: Lantharond conquered by the Warlord Redhawk; members of the Council of Elders executed; Redhawk crowns himself Overking of Lantharond (378).

• Clash of the Warlords: The Warlock Hashuur, commanding a large warparty of ogres, orcs and dogres, lays siege to Tanirith; Hashuur is slain in magical battle by Tanira; Hashuur's warparty is decimated by Ptaraz (407-408).
• Wars of the Kingdom Come: Ptaraz campaigns to conquer all of the Sword Lands to establish his kingdom (410-429).

Battle of Goblin Bones: Svyrnix, the goblin King, is captured and beheaded by Ptaraz; goblins flee to the Khanark Rockies (410);

Third Battle of Lantharond: Ptaraz the Mighty conquers Lantharond and executes the Overking Bloodhawk (413);

Second Battle of the Plains: Ptaraz the Mighty conquers Nur'Anaan; fall of the Marble-Throne and end of the Nuramin dynasty in Nur'Anaan (421);

Battle of Aurystan: The forest-kingdom of Aurystan is ransacked by Ptaraz' army, with the help of demons summoned by Tanira; valoreny elves flee from the Sword Lands (427);

Battle of the Stone-Throne: Mountedge conquered by Ptaraz the Mighty (429);

Battle of the Orc Bones: Grulash, the orc Shaman-King, is defeated and killed by Ptaraz; orcs flee to the Khanark Rockies (429).

• Dwarven Wars: King Ptaraz declares war on the Dwarven Halls for their refusal to pay trade tariffs decreed by him (432).

Battle of Galduur's Pass: a large warparty of dwarves, lead by the dwarven hero Galduur Ironshield, ambushes and routs a contingent of the Iron Kingdom's army (432);

Battle of the Western Pass: reinforcements from Mountedge to join with the Iron Kingdom's army at Galduur's Pass are decimated by Galduur Ironshield and his warparty (432).

• The Dragon War: lead by Golan Dragonheart, Lantharond wages a succesful war of independance against the Iron Kingdom (524).
• First Fire War: Fire giants lay siege to Lantharond and are eventually routed (553-554).
• Goblin War: Goblins from the Khanark Rockies, lead by their Shaman-King Faruuk, lay siege to Lantharond and are eventually routed; Faruuk is captured and publicly beheaded (559-563).
• Scourge of the Bandit Lords: Army-sized groups of bandits, lead by ruthless, self-proclaimed "Bandit Lords", roam throughout the Sword Lands (591-609).

Battle of Springfest's Eve: The Bandit Lords Kassandros, Blackfist and Drakon join forces to pillage and burn Nur'Anaan; fall of Nur'Anaan (603);

Siege of Tanirith: The Bandit Lords Blackfist and Drakon ransom Tanirith in exchange for leaving the city unharmed (604);

Fourth Battle of Lantharond: The Bandit Lords Blackfist and Drakon are defeated and beheaded after unsuccesfully attacking Lantharond (606);

Battle of Mountedge: The Bandit Lord Kassandros is defeated and beheaded after unsuccesfully attacking Mountedge (609).

• War of the Crests: numerous rival noble houses war against each other for the Iron-Throne (603).
• First War of the Coast: Lantharond declares war on Tanirith for refusing to be annexed by the Dragon-Throne (650-655).
• War of Satrapy: The Highlord Daan of Tanirith conquers Al'Nura; dissolution of the Council of Elders and replacement by a Herzog appointed by the Highlord (653).
• Second War of the Coast: Tanirith seeks in turn to annex Lantharond by force; war ends in a stalemate (662-663).
• Battle of the Flame: The knight Jasper Flameheart and the Company of the Flame defeat and slay the Warlord Hacheras during his attack of Al'Nura (663).
• Wars of the Dragoons: A horse-riding barbarian horde (the "War Dragoons"), lead by the Supreme Dragoon Burmol, arrive from the west and sweep through the Sword Lands (725-730).

Siege of Sharranth: The War Dragoons ransom Sharranth in exchange for leaving the city unharmed (725);

Siege of Al'Nura: Al'Nura pillaged and burnt to the ground by the War Dragoons; fall of Al'Nura (726);

Second Siege of Tanirith: The War Dragoons overrun Tanirith but are eventually pushed back by the Knights of the Flame; Tanirith burns but stands (727);

Fifth Battle of Lantharond: Supreme Dragoon Burmol is slain in ritual combat at Lantharond after a challenge by King Baeros Dragonheart; the War Dragoons pledge their loyalty and service to the Dragonking; the barbarians and their families are welcomed into Lantharond's population; King Baeros charters the Lantharond Troopers (formerly know as the War Dragoons) as a new branch of Lantharond's military (730).

• War of the Sorcerer-King: The Warlock Varhuul and his mercenary army conquers Sharranth; Varhuul institutes the Emerald-Throne and crowns himself as the first Sorcerer-King; advent of the Sorcerer-Kings of Sharranth (733).
• Second Fire War: Fire giants attack Lantharond during the eartquake; Lantharond burnt and destroyed, later rebuilt (759).
• Battle of the Harrow Woods: Sorcerer-King Varhuul of Sharranth seeks to annex Tanirith by force; the two armies meet in a savage battle at the ruins of Aurystan, where mighty magics as well as arms are used; battle ends in a stalemate, with the elven ruins and surrounding forest obliterated; in latter years, the forest and ancient site of the forest-kingdom of Aurystan become known as the Harrow Woods; Sharranth and Tanirith sign a truce (760).
• Third War of the Coast: Lantharond Troopers charge Tanirith's gate by order of Dragonking Baeros who seeks a forceful annexation of the city; following a brutal and savage clash, the Knights of the Flame push back the Lantharond Troopers; Lantharond and Tanirith sign a truce (760).
• Second War of Satrapy: Stone Keep forcefully annexed by Tanirith; Lord Heartstone captured and beheaded; Stone Keep ruled by a Herzog appointed by the Silver-Throne (775).
• Fourth War of the Coast: Tanirith declares war on Lantharond after the Dragon-Throne's refusal to pay substantial monetary reparations for the last War of the Coast; Tanirith lays siege to Lantharond both on land and at sea; the siege is lifted when double the sum originally demanded is paid (780-783).
• Battle of Sharranth: Tanirith seeks to annex Sharranth by force; invaders driven back by the Sorcerer-King Khan-Alghuul and Sharranth's army; Tanirith forced to pay substantial reparations to Sharranth by threat of destruction by magic at the hands of Sorcerer-King Khan-Alghuul (804).
• War of the Silver-Throne: Prince Tarinthas, younger brother of Warynith, seeks to depose the Overking and seize the Silver-Throne for himself; civil war reigns in Tanirith (822-825).
• Fifth War of the Coast: Lantharond sides with Tarinthas and declares war on Tanirith (827):

Battle of Tarterys Island: Tanirith's fleet is decimated by the combined fleets of Prince Tarinthas and Lantharond; Tanirith buys truce with Lantharond (827);

Battle of the Gathering of the Sisters: an enraged Tarinthas sails to Lantharond and declares war to the Dragon-Throne; Tarinthas' fleet meets in battle with Lantharond's fleet on the night of the Gathering of the Sisters; Tarinthas and his vessel burn and sink; both pirate and Lantharond fleets nearly decimated; battle ends in stalemate; surviving pirate vessels sail away (826).

• The Ten-Year War: Larinthas, son of dead Prince Tarinthas, lays claim to the Silver-Throne as legitimate heir (849-858).

Battle of Tarterys River: Larinthas' pirate fleet routs Tanirith's fleet on Tarterys river (850);

Siege of Lantharond: Larinthas and his pirate army march to Lantharond; Larinthas declares war on Lantharond for the betrayal and death of his father Tarinthas; siege of Lantharond (854-858).

• Second War of the Crests: Noble merchant houses in Tanirith war against each other for the rulership of the city (851-852).
• War of Artemisia forest: Lantharond declares war on the amazons in order to annex their territory by force; war ends in a stalemate (866).
• Sixth War of the Coast: Lantharond seeks to annex Tanirith by force (877-880).
• Third War of the Crests: Ambitious noble houses seek to seize power in Tanirith; civil war in Tanirith (944).
• Pirate Wars: Pirate-King Monsoon and his fleet from the Pirate Isles land at Wailsrond and conquer the city; Wailsrond later liberated (1139-1147).

Battle of Fallfest's Eve: a punitive task force comprised of vessels from Tanirith and Lantharond sail to the Pirate Isles and clashes with Monsoon's reserve fleet; battle ends a stalemate with a clear advantage to the pirates (1139).

• Second War of Artemisia Forest: Amazons break peace treaty and attack Lantharond (1166).
