The Mist Ridge

This protruding eastern ridge of the Crystalmist Range Mountains is constituted of low, but rugged, mountains. The Mist Ridge bears its name for being almost continually being surrounded or covered by a thick and humid veil of fog - as far as human, dwarven or even elven memories go, these mountains have always been shrouded by fog in this manner. This fog permeates throughout the ridge as well and is considered by the most knowledgeable of scholars to be some sort of permanent magical fixture. Nonetheless, it is not known who (or what) caused such a magical fog to cover the mountains - nor when or why. Suffice it to say that this foreboding mountainous ridge is considered quite dangerous, if only because of its dark, misty and foggy nature. Interestingly, tavern-talk, gossip and tall tales usually speak of spine-freezing howls and screams often being echoed far and wide, from these mountains. What sort of terrifying creatures and monsters lurk in the Mist Ridge remains to be discovered - for never have these mountains been successfully explored (at least as far as history records go).

The Mist Ridge is yet to constitute a part of the adventuring locale of a Realmz scenario.
