"You may have solved the troubles in the Sword Lands;
And you may have survived their war ...
But can even you escape from the wrath of the Mind Lords?"
- Naryl Thezzat, Psi-knight of Keryndorh
If you are not blessed with the Gift, you are then nothing. Nothing that is, but fit only as a beast of burden: good enough just to perform the most menial, back-breaking of tasks, good enough to be nothing more than a lowly slave. It does not matter whether you are human, elf, orc, cathoon or even dogre: if you lack the Gift, you are therefore a mongrel barely deserving to live.
If you have enough will, you may attempt to fight against your Masters, your Superiors. If you are very lucky, you may even succeed and win your freedom, living the rest of your life as a fugitive, your lack of the Gift branding you to all as such like a cursed light surrounding you everywhere you run or hide, like a shining axe of fate hanging over you and ready to fall on your neck at any moment. Thus you are doomed to die sooner or later from hunger, disease ... or slow and painful execution, should the Masters find you and capture you.
From time to time, there are those so precious few who not only manage to free themselves, but somehow have enough wits and courage to organize into small pockets of rebellion. Some of these few, minuscule communities of fugitives are determined and organized enough to manage to even annoy the Masters, and rarely sometimes their Lords as well. But with the Gift within them, the Lords, Masters, and their legions of psi-warriors always prevail sooner or later, the fugitive-rebels caught or slaughtered as vivid, gory examples to all slaves who would even dare to think of trying to escape their fate.
Thus, such is the life for those like you who are not blessed with the Gift: to live as a slave ... or to die horribly. Or both.
Indeed, such is the life for the likes of you in the Neo Imperium of Lankharh, and so it has been ever since its rise to dominance over most of the Realmz and Anarym continents.
And such is the life for the likes of you as so decreed by the Mentarchs, the God-Emperors of the Neo Imperium, ever since their Second Rising of some six hundred and forty winters past.
So why is it that you keep having this strange, recurring dream about another life that you do not remember ever having lived, where things are -and should be- completely different?

Wrath of the Mind Lords (WoML for short) is an official Realmz scenario for 6 characters begining at an average 18th level (i.e. 108 levels party). This third and last installment of the Sword Lands Trilogy was released in Ocotober 2002. The main features of WoML are the following:
The scenario is huge, in the same vein as its two predecessors ("Trouble in the Sword Lands" [TiSL], "War in the Sword Lands" [WiSL]). It includes 8 land levels (including swamps and tropical jungles), 9 indoor levels (castles, inns, shops, taverns, ruins, etc.), 2 underground levels, 1 Astral Plane level and 3 3D-dungeon levels.
Some 300 monsters (most of which are new) for about 530+ possible battles are to be encountered. This goes along with 95-odd new items, 20+ available special characters (NPC's), 50-odd major villainous personages/beings to contend with.
The scenario can adjust itself (in terms of story, NPC's, and dialogs) whether you have played TiSL and/or WiSL previously or not.
The scenario has all the features which made TiSL and WiSL popular (i.e. complex plot and rich story, no skimming on the details and dialogs, good drama, great battles, numerous land levels, buildings and dungeons to explore, riddles and puzzles to solve, etc.). Also, the beginning of WoML is sure to be a shocker in and of itself.
As in TiSL and WiSL, water and food are required to be carried in WoML: otherwise, your party members will suffer from dehydration or hunger!
The scenario can be completed in either one of two alternate endings (one good and one less-so-good).
Of course, the motus operandi of WoML remains the same as in TiSL and WiSL: "Durn good brains AND a good sword required; otherwise, ye need not apply"!
And plenty of neat things to do and explore ... many of which are likely to surprise ya aside from a far-reaching, main plot!
